You were such a security to me.

You were such a security to me.
I fell for you and
tumbled for sixteen months;
never hitting the ground,
you prolonged everything.

>Don't hold your breath
>baby
>it's making your face look un-
>flattering.

I sat blind to your animosity.
For weeks you rolled over me
crushing my spirits and my high-hoping dreams.
Leaving me alone thinking,
god,
kill me--
kill me, please.

>Don't pretend you didn't
>love me.
>Your eyes blinked fast, meaning you were
>happy.

I clicked the screen door shut;
night approaching, it was nearly dusk.
I climbed in bed and pulled the covers up,
shut out, shut off.
I've had it, enough.
My photo
be gentle with yourself, keep peace in your soul.
